He's 15 weeks, and this is our 4th day with him. So far he has never peed or pooed on his papers, but the breeder said he was paper trained. I take him to his papers after eating and drinking and playing and waking up and before bed. Not once has he actually used them. I'm not sure if we should take him outside to go, because he's never been outside before, and because he hasn't had all his shots. He's also small and will probably get cold.

he should be ok outside as long as other dogs dont do their business out there. puppy pad training is pretty easy, but you just have to stay on top of it. you must watch him practically 24/7 when you are home and every time you see him sniffing around then get ready to bring him to the pad. our puppy sticks her nose straight down on the ground and walks in a straight line. every dog is different though. trust me it pays off to spend a lot of time watching your puppy. once he gets the hang of it then its all smooth sailing. good luck.
