I briefly skimmed in a book how to introduce a new cat to your dogs, and I've slowly been letting them sniff eachother's scents. I put my cat in a separate room with a litterbox, food, and toys.

I rubbed a towel on my dogs and let my cat sniff it, and finally I let my dogs come up to the closed door and let them sniff, and she hissed and growled from under the bed in the room, but that was all. I just don't know what to do next.

Any help and tips are welcome!

I have a yellow lab who is a totaly couch potato, and a young cairn terrier who is playful, but definitly not harmful.They've been around cats before and were curious and whined a little, but I don't think there should be a problem...
