I am compiling a list of dog rescues. I am planning to ALWAYS adopt from shelters or rescues in the future, and this list is to help me narrow the list down when I decide I want another dog sometime. (I would be adopting like crazy now, only I am still a slave in my parents' house. Groan groan)

List as many rescues as you can think of, preferably of the popular breeds because I'm planning to rescue those when I grow up. It's because the more popular a breed is, the more members of that breed will be abandoned or relinquished to rescue. I want to help reduce the number of that kind of dog in rescue by adopting a lot of them.

If possible please try to find a list of rescues from the following breeds:
Doberman
Rottweiler
Golden Retriever
Labs
Yorkie
Papillon

Feel free to add rescues of other breeds as well!

BTW I am not anti-reputable breeder. I do however firmly believe you should NEVER buy from a breeder unless you're interested in showing or breeding stock to help better the breed.
The reason I didn't put the full names of some of the breeds I listed is because I was running out of characters. The first draft of my question was several pages long (I had a heckuva lot to say!) and I had to cut it down a lot.

Well, it depends a lot on where you live, like do you live in US or UK or somewhere else? Otherwise that would be a ton of rescues to list.. a lot of which you couldn't even get to...
