Get a chow chow. She stays outside everyday and all day and if you ever do need to bring her in, they wont mess in the huse! I have one and she is the sweetest thing and loves all the little kids that are in my family. Just tell your kids not to pull on its ears or anything(i think that goes for any dog). Or you could go to a local animal shelter and tell them what your looking for, they shold be able to help you.
