I drove my dog 3 hours to a lady who was referred to me that would breed her male pomeranian to my female. She said to leave her there for about 5 days. After ward she said she did actually witness anything happening..but that he "Gets the job done". I felt a bit surprised paying her 300.00 and not even know if my dog got bred. I asked what happens if my dog is not pregnant do you give a refund? And she said they could try again next time she came into heat. My dogs due date is coming up and I dont know if she is pregnant..but if not, I sort of feel ripped off...she doesnt even know if "It" happened at all.

$300 ?? You sure this was a male that is even worth breeding to? Last male I bred to.. it cost me $2000 for the stud fee... OH but upfront, we talked and I found out what was expected of me, and what I could expect from him if she didn't get pregnant.. Oh yeah and he would NEVER leave my dog unattended and let them breed... Hmmm.. You might want to thank your lucky stars if she isn't pregnant.. Doesn't sound like a deal I would be happy with.

Please don't put yourself in that situation again. I am with the others on here. So she didn't see the actual mating of the two? Geez, so if she isn't really paying attention to your dogs care, how awful it would have been for your dog if her dog (s) had attacked yours. She doesn't sound like a good breeder to me at all, especially with no written contract. I would go and see if she is pregnant and if she isn't, see if you can get your money back. Tell this lady anything, that something is wrong with your dog and she will not be able to get pregnant and you want your money back.
