My 17 wk old puppy had his 2nd groom appt yeterday. The groomer bathed him with oatmeal shampoo, brushed him, trimmed a little on his face, cut his nails, and clipped the hair on his low belly and around his his genitals, anus, and feet. I think she said she used a #10 clipper.

Since he came home yesterday he has been acting strange and appears VERY uncomfortable! I don't know what to do!

Sudden and NEW behaviors:

1. Agressive and frequent licking in groin area, particularly around inner thigh. Some licking/chewing of paws. I've tried to distract him from the behavior by offering him his favorite chewy or trying to play, but nothing gets his attention and interrupts the licking. If I pick him up and try to pet or soothe him, he squirms and wiggles like he is uncomfortable. He is normally a calm and attentive little boy!

2. He is acting "ouchy" and irritated. He grunts/whines and will make a quick and irradic movement and/or short run almost like something is suddenly getting at him and he is trying to get away from it. He is on frontline plus and I have gone through him diligently with a flea comb and found no fleas or dirt.

3. His penis came out (the red part) for the first time last night. It did it once this morning as well.

No butt scooching and potties have been normal.

His skin does not appear red, broken, raised, or irritated. Can anyone help figure out what is causing this? I feel terrible for him and don't know what to do for him.
