My Puppy is SICK! She has been sick off and on for about 4 weeks!?
She hasn't been acting any different....she still plays, still wants to eat, I just dont understand what is going on with her. Peaople keep mentioning PArvo, but with Parvo your health keeps declining and she is sick for maybe 3 days the better for 4 days and so on. I cant afford to take her to the vets so could someone plaese help me narrow this down!
Also how do you know if they have a fever or not?
For one no I cannot afford my internet bill thats why I am at the library! And another I thought it was her dog food so I switched that up and she got beeter for about 10 days then sick again so I switched it again and she got better for about 8 days so technically shes was sick for only a couple days off and on...thought she just had a bug geesh...and for 3 i have two kids thought they were sillping here ppl food! Geesh you ppl are harsh! I asked for suggestions not for lectures! I'm sorry I only get paid every 2 weeks and have to wait for that paychck in order to take her to the vets! Wow! I'm taking her Tuesday so get off my shit!

First, if you can't afford to take the animal to the vet- YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE GOTTEN A PET!
You obviously haven't had it vaccinated since you are afraid of Parvo- it can very well be Parvo and anytime an animal is sick for more than 24 hours, it need to be seen by a vet.
Also, it's ILLEGAL to not vaccinate your pet and ANIMAL NEGLECT to not take it to the vet when you know it's sick- especially for 4 weeks!
Many vets will set up a payment plan and they LEGALLY CANNOT deny your animal treatment. TAKE THE THING TO THE VET or it could die!
After you take it to the vet- find it a home where the person is actually responsible!
And to take it's temperature- get a regular human digital thermometer and put it in the dogs rectum about 1/2 an inch- wait for it to beep- dogs regular temperature varies between 99.5 and 101.5. Anything higher is a fever and life-threatning for a young animal.
DO SOMETHING NOW or you'll feel even worse when the dog dies because you were irresponsible!

You will need a rectal thermometer to take your dog's or cat's temperature. You do not need a special 'dog' or 'cat' thermometer – you can use one designed for human use. Lubricate the thermometer with some vaseline or lubricating jelly. Normal Temperature for a Dog 100° to 102.5°F

Trust me its parvo, I had a litter of puppies and I thought the same thing, because they would get better. But they had it and I had to get a couple of them put down, luckily not all of them had it. If she isn't to bad and not really dehydrated then you just need to take her in to the vet every morning and receive a shot for about 4-6 days. It will cost you about 14-16 dollars per shot. So might be able to get rid of the parvo for under $100 dollars which is great, because once they had it and get over it, they can never receive it again. You just need to make sure that she stays very hydrated, I would mix in gatorade or pedilyte with her water to make sure shes not getting to dehydrated.
I hope everything works out and good luck.

You won't like this, but the obvious question is, why have a pupy if you can't afford the vet? Bad idea. One thing for sure is, the longer you leave it, the more expensive it's going to be so if it's money you're worried about, go NOW rather than later.
The symptoms you've described are far too generalised for even a vet to guess at the problem - and there aren't any vets on here. You really need to go to one - if you just want an idea of the problem, you can get this for the price of a consult.
Even if you could narrow this down yourself, how would you then know what treatment to proceed with? Don't risk your dog's health with DIY diagnosis and treatment.

You can't afford to take your sick puppy to the vet, but I notice that you have paid your internet bill just fine. If you can't afford to take your pup to the vet then you need to find her a better home that will provide her with all her needs.

I agree with all the replies. Shame on you for getting a dog and not being able to afford the vet care it needs. I'm including a list of places that will provide you with financial help.
Check out these sites. These are some groups that can help you afford the vet bills (some of this info courtesy of My Dog Rocks):
American Animal Hospital Association

treatment or procedure fees from $1 to over $25,000, we offer a plan
and a low monthly payment to fit comfortably into almost every
budget."
Feline Veterinary Emergency Assistance (FVEAP)
http://www.fveap.org/sys-tmpl/door/...
"Seniors, People with disabilities, People who
have lost their job, Good Samaritans who rescue a cat or kitten - any of these folks may need financial assistance to save a beloved companion."
The Feline Veterinary Emergency Assistance Program is a nonprofit 501
(c)(3) organization that provides financial assistance to cat and
kitten guardians who are unable to afford veterinary services to save
their companions when life-threatening illness or injury strikes.

is financially challenged."
The Pet Fund
http://thepetfund.com/
