Default Puppy Sick????

Okay my puppy is a 14 week old female german shepherd and shes been eating and drinking daily. She sometimes nibbles her leg is it itchy? or could there be fleas? She only sometimes does it but not severe.i could find any fleas though well that i know of. Today she is starting to scratch the chin what could be wrong?? She also has a skin infection on her stomach and im still giving her clavamox left overs. She had this infection and went away but came back. Man there is so many problems with my puppy... I also saw black sticky thing near he gential area is that fleas? I pulled some out and they wern;t moving. I might take her to the vet, but i know this will cost me over 200. I love my puppy but its just alot of money.....
i feel like i have to sell this puppy because its alot of work and im only 13 years old..... I do not have the responsibility!

unfortunatley you may find out the hard way that having a pet can be very costly, best thing to do is go to the vets and buy flea treatment, stronghold is best, it treats fleas and if there is a risk of Mange, this will also help, if this doesnt work then you will have to go to the vet for treatment, if you cannot keep her in the future, make sure she goes to a good home.

Dogs have natural itches, just like sometimes your head itches, but that doesn't mean you have lice, nor your dog has fleas.

If you have searched for fleas, and not found any (granted you did a THOROUGH pick through of the hair) than I doubt she has 'em.

Go get the flea shampoo, give her a couple baths in it, you'll often notice black dandruff stuff, that is flea feces (poop), and fleas are about the size of a small mosquito, they are big enough to see with the naked human eye, so if she gets overridden with fleas, you'd be able to see them.

It's unfortunate that you took this dog under your wing, and now can't face the consequences of that, but it's best to get her into a fabulous home while she's young, as opposed to dumping her off at the pound when she's older. If you don't think you can take care of this dog, petition your parents for help, or give her away, or sell her for a minimal fee.

And next time you get a pet, think twice.

Puppies are alot of work but very rewarding if you do it right. Below i have given you a few websites that might help you a bit. try the humane society to in your area they sometimes know where you can get vets for a cheaper rate or help paying them... Best of luck
