Default Dog diarrhea/ vomit from switching foods. please help!?

I switched soft food yesterday morning because i ran out of the stuff she's used to and the only thing open was cvs. I got her pedigree for puppies and she had some soft stools after she ate it, but i wasn't too worried. Then this morning she had horrible diarrhea. It's been getting progressively worse and she's been going every hour since this morning. She also vomitted a lot. Her belly is still pretty firm. I'm taking her to the vet tomorrow and I already gave her diarrhea medicine, but it's not really helping. What can I do to help ease her pain and lessen the diarrhea/vomit.

Take away food and water until her stomach settles. Go back to her regular food and NEVER make a drastic change like that again.Dog's need to have their foods changed SLOWLY as to not upset their stomachs. How did you run out of dog food? Seems kinda irresponsible, espeically if you're caring for a puppy.Make sure you're feeding quality food like Canidae, Wellness, Innova or Artemis. What are you feeding her regularly?
