Default Help! Need special dog food kidney/renal diet with tiny kibbles, any suggestions?

My vet diagnosed my dog with a kidney condition. He prescribed Hills Diet K/D, a kidney/renal diet food. The kibbles are too big for my old dog with missing teeth. He can't tolerate canned food, so I'm hoping someone has a small dog and can suggest a kidney/renal diet food that has small chunks?? Thanks in advance for any advice you may have.
Thanks My vet said that my dog's kidneys are 2/3 of the way gone, and they are no longer to be able to do their job as they are operating around 30% - so he needs a food that is a kidney/renal diet because it has less in it for him to break down and process.

I know there are other brands, just hoping someone will know which ones are best for little dogs. A powder won't probably work - I seriously doubt my dog will want to lick powder. So any helpful suggestions are appreciated.
My vet only uses Hills Diet food and is unaware of other options.
