My 1 yr old shitzou maltese mix dog is a very picky eater. He barely eats any food and we've tried many types of dry food. He eats the food that comes in cans ofcourse but that is to expensive.

When we went to my friends house he started eating the cat food they had out for their cat and he absolutaly loved it. Will it harm my dog to give him cat food? Will he get all the nutrients he needs?

(the cat food at my friends house was for adult cats.)
