food? I was thinking of Merrick, Innova or Canidae. Are these good foods for a dog with allergies?

lol my dog has allergies to foods too and the only foods he can eat now are organic foods because they have no chemicals or anything. oh, and has anybody gone to iamscruelty.org and seen the videos about their animal abuse? just please be careful when choosing dog food brands so you're not accidentally supporting any abusive pet food companies.

I'd give Eagle Pack Holistic a try. Our dog had allergies too. He used to get hot spots that he would chew on and would lose fur (his tail would have almost no fur on it). When we adopted a kitten, the shelter gave us a sample of Eagle Pack cat food. When we went to buy some more of the cat food, we decided to try the dog food also. Our dog has not had any more allergy problems since being on it. He's 11 years old and has the energy of a puppy. His fur is soft and shiney and he never loses fur or gets hot spots any more.

Take your pick of the three. Try it for at least 8 weeks before deciding there is no improvement. It can take that long for a food switch to start improving things.
