Default Is Nutro a top dog food? Or Chicken Soup for the Dog Lover's Soul?

Considering these foods for my pup, along with some others suggested....just don't know much about these.

Thanks! : )

Nutro is one of the better foods. I feed it to my dog and we're very happy with it. The most important thing is what food is best for YOUR dog. Do some research and then decide. Good luck!

Also consider Canidae:

Dog food rating site (educate yourself...)
http://www.dogfoodanalysis.com/dog_food_reviews/index.php/cat/1
Canidae got 5 stars
Chicken Soup (puppy) got 5
Chicken Soup (adult) got 4
Nutro (ultra-holistic) got 4; there are several other types of nutro under the 3-star ratings

Yes; those foods are considered higher quality but I think Chicken Soup is higher quality than Nutro. There are other ones you can take into consideration as well such as Innova, Canidae, Flint River Ranch, Timberwolf Organics, etc. You can buy one and see if your pup does well on it. If your puppy doesn't like it or you don't see any good results, you can make a gradual switch to another higher quality food. Stay away from brands such as Pedigree, Science Diet, Iams, Eukanuba, Purina, etc.

I love Nutro. It's all I've ever fed my dogs.... here's some info.
....They list all the ingrediants, their guarantees, etc.
