Default What is the best dog food I can feed my bullmastiff?

He's having problems with his ears. I took him to the vet and they said he had a yeast infection, it got better but is now getting worse again.. I heard it could have something to do with his diet.
True... he doesn't like the neighbors cat.... but he loves our two chi's.

The BARF diet - it is based on feeding raw. I have a Cane Coso and she has been much healthier since feeding her this diet!!

Have you ever thought about switching over to Raw Feeding? If you truly want to feed your dog, the best possible food, feed him what humans eat. Not some meat flavored cereal (which is what most dry dog food is). Regular dog food is processed food, where as RAW food is 2lbs of regular meat (chicken, turkey, ground meat, chicken thighs, etc) a day. As a human, what is healthier, eating processed fast food everyday, or regular fresh meat?

If I were you, I would spend some time and researching the RAW diet. Especially for a large dog like yours...

My vet said not to touch any Pedigree Chum products as they are too rich and well known for causing tummy problems. I give my Bassett 'Butchers' products and the vet siad these were great. She also said 'all in one' meals were not too great either as again too much rubbish in them.
