Any dog food that has corn in it is a bad food. I personaly dont like dog foods. I feed my dogs raw after learning more about dogs and their needs and how bad pet foods can be for our animals.
I have great danes and a few other dogs, im dont have money coming out my rear to buy the higher end kibbles, that are still processed and contain undigestible matter, so i went 100% raw and havnt looked back.
to learn more about this, go to www.rawfed.com and visit the myths section. Its not hard and its a money saver, plus its the best thing next to prey modle for our dogs and cats.

I have yet to find a mass produced dog food that is of good quality.
There are a few things that you should look for when searching for a healthy dog food. One, the first ingredients should be protein. Grain should either be low or non-existent in the ingredients, stay away from anything ending with gluten! Also, it should indicate that the meat is human grade.
My dog is currently eating Orijen (Canadian brand), but also Go! Natural Dog Food, and Merrick are good. I have also heard great things about the BARF diet (raw meat and veggies) this is the closest to a dog's natural diet.

Good luck!

It's a mass-produced commercial dog food brought to you by the the makers of Skittles, M&Ms etc. I just went to their website. So it's owned by a huge conglomerate, and probably isn't the best, they just have good TV commercials with lots of cute animals. Try Innova products, they're all natural, is made with human quality ingredients, were never involved with the recent pet food recall, and they don't use filler like wheat gluten or meat by-products. That's what I feed all my pets!

We did a lot of research about dog foods, and we decided to feed our dog Canidae. She really likes the taste of Good Life, so we mix a little of it in with the dry Canidae food just for some variety. (I'm talking like 1 piece of Good Life for every 10 pieces of Canidae.) But, if you look at the label, it's really not the best dog food. Meat is not the first ingredient. Corn is, and corn really adds no nutritional value. It's a cheap filler. But compared to some of the other dog foods, it's not as bad: http://www.goodliferecipe.com/dogMainMeals.aspx
