Default How are difficult dogs groomed?

I have a 9 month old bichon and he goes to the groomer every 2 months. I get him cut down so that i can manage his coat and wash him (easily) more frequently and he doesn't like the brushing. He has been groomed at the same place on each occasion. Yesterday was his 4th groomimg. I requested for a close cut on his belly area and low cut on the rest of his coat. I think he looks great. well, after getting home with him was rubbing his belly and noticed his testes were extremely red. I wasn't sure why? Does anyone know if the grooming may have had any effect on this???

This is normal, it will go away in a few days, just heat from the clippers, close shaves can itch too. Nothing to worry about though.

It happens sometimes with grooming. It's nothing to worry about. You can put some olive oil or fish oil in his food to give his skin what it needs to stay healthy.

They may have gotten a little to close with the clippers. He may have razor burn. If he's not bothering with them, I wouldn't worry about it, but I'd be sure to let the groomer know before he gets groomed again.
If he is bothering with it, you may want to get him checked out by your vet.
